TMZ reports that one of Michael Jackson's final financial transactions was the purchase of a piece depicting the Wicked Witch of the West called "The Donut Queen." In the days before his death, Jackson also purchased a painting called Play Ball; both works were created by an artist called Nelson De La Nuez.

Popular canvases, statues, and other forms of artwork depicting Michael himself are being snapped up by collectors, commanding thousands to tens of thousands in the art market. One popular portrait painting of Michael Jackson art by Andy Warhol sold for $1 million in the August after Jackson's death.
